Commonly, whenever we think of Japan, Tokyo or Kyoto comes to mind. Tokyo's vibrant city has plenty to offer in the form of food and shopping. Kyoto has many UNESCO world heritage sights. But these places are getting more crowded over the years. Hence numerous visitors are seeking to travel along the off-the-beaten-track.

Road trips are getting more popular lately, with the advent of GPS and Google maps. There is an increase in information on sights, transportation, and restaurants in the many other prefectures of Japan on the web. This leads to easier planning, and hence wonderfully scenic vacations.

We have been driving around Japan more frequently lately. Through our travel blog, we want to share our road trips itineraries with you, to entice you to venture out of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

The prefecture that we have written on is in red. Click on it, and it'll lead you to a separate page with a closer view of that area. From there, we have sketched out the route we've taken.

You can click on the cities, and it'll direct you to the blog

article that is related to that city.
